1.  What adjustment techniques are used at Brown Chiropractic?

Dr. Brown has gained expertise in multiple techniques to fit each patient's individual needs. There are 3 techniques he most commonly uses.  Diversified technique is a hands-on adjustment that can be done gently or with force.  Activator technique uses a small adjusting instrument.  The Thompson (aka. Drop) technique uses a specialized table to correct the spine with less hands-on force.  

2.  Are other therapeutic methods used at treatment?

Professional electrical muscle stimulus machines, heat therapy, cryotherapy (ice packs) and trigger point therapy are a few of several techniques which can help the body heal faster. Exercises help speed up recovery and stabilize corrections, Dr. Brown gives valuable instructions so you gain a healthier lifestyle.

3.  What insurance carriers do you participate with?  What if I do not have health insurance?

Dr. Brown is a licensed provider with most health insurance plans offered in the Hudson Valley. These would include Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Cigna, Magnacare, Medicare, MVP, Oxford, Pomco, United Healthcare and more.  Brown Chiropractic is registered Worker's Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident cases.  If Dr. Brown is not a provider for your Health Insurance, you may still have coverage.  Call our office and staff will do a complimentary verification of your healthcare insurance benefits!

Do you not have Health Insurance?  Does your policy seem that chiropractic care is unaffordable?  Don't worry, you are not alone.  Brown Chiropractic has plans which are often affordable to patients in your situation.    

4.  Do you adjust infants or children?

Pediatric chiropractic is available.  Dr. Brown has had post-graduate training to care for infants, children and Moms-to-Be as well! A popular condition that 

we treat children for are ear infections. 

5.  Do you take x-rays or MRI's?

X-rays are taken when medically necessary but, they are no longer taken directly in our office. MRI's may be ordered as well.  Dr. Brown can prescribe to locations such as DRA Imaging, MD Imaging, or Open MRI of Fishkill.  Additionally, we can always communicate with your Primary Care Physician to find answers when necessary.
